In Early december our Birthday group got together and exchanged presents. One of the ladies gave each of us this plant that we could nurture throughout the winter. I told my bag of gifts and stored them deep in my closet. It was a busy Christmas with so many things to deal with I ended up forgetting about my bag of goodies.
In Early February I saw the bag and thought I should unpack it and put things away. When I peered in I said to myself "what on earth is that?" A little closer inspection showed this sweet plant trying to grow in my dark closet!
I never even planted it in dirt. Just kept running out of time.
It bloomed last week! It is so nice to have a little spring in the middle of winter! Talk about a being survivor and having a little resiliency!
