Joy comes in the Morning.

Its been one of those days...
Luke has been testing. I HAD to do washing or we would all be walking around naked tomorrow (yes it was that bad) and the floors NEEDED to be done... So I got out the drawing and a few 'special' things that live up high on the play shelf to entertain Luke while I got some chores done... well wasn't that a BAD idea... walking into the playroom I found oil pastel drawings on the carpet, texta drawings all over the drums, pen drawings on the lounge and he had drawn ALL over himself too!!! Ahhhh.... I was so mad... I pulled myself together so I didn't lose the plot it at him...and while we were having a chat and he was telling me that they were 'Blue bubbles on the drums' one of my glass framed pictures, that was hanging on one of those STUPID sticky hooks, fell down smashing into a million pieces all over the floor I had just cleaned!!!!!!!!!!!... well the discipline just went out the window while I picked up glass and then vacumed the floor AGAIN!!!

Ben decided to kip all day...no nice long sleep so by 4pm I was so close to a mummy melt down when my knight in shining armour walked through the door! Boyd was home from work and about to walk out again 10mins later for criket training...but decided to take Luke with him... and the heavens opened singing 'HALLELUJAH'. I had every intention to start dinner but decided I would make a cup of tea and sit down for 5 mins to rest...well...I woke up at 6:30, just before Boyd and Luke walked in the door...oops! Must have needed it!!

Being a mummy is really the best job in the world but boy oh boy do some days just hit you like a tonne of bricks. Praise God that 'Joy comes in the morning!'...

...then you see this, and your heart melts...they really are worth all the hard work :)
