Sorry about my lack of blogging last week, but I have FINALLY had my husband all to myself ALL weekend!! NO CRICKET!!! YAY!!! He has made it to the grand final, which is next weekend, but they have given the team the weekend before off... I would say ALL the wives would have started a protest if they hadn't given it!... So I hear you saying...Get over it Jess, its just one day!!...OH NO... Its been 2 day games!!! That means all day Saturday AND all day Sunday!! Not happy Jan!... However, being the perfect wife I am (BARF) I am going watch my man doing his thing, running back and forth on a pitch, hitting a ball... and he better WIN!

We had such a beautiful weekend together as a family, and I LOVED IT!! We went out for breaky on Saturday, did some home jobs, relaxed on the lounge with a good movie and some ice-cream... and Sunday, church, afternoon kip and out to dinner with good friends!! Oh how I love these weekends!
(But you wouldn't believe it... I DIDN'T TAKE ONE PHOTO!!!...crazy me!)
Anyway I have a PLUM JAM over load in this house and my friend Liz had a great idea on how to give it away!!...
So last week Luke and I have been making SCONES!!! He is such a good little helper!!
And then did up a cute little basket with a jar of HOME MADE PLUM JAM and fresh warm SCONES!
The perfect gift to leave on the front door, knock and run, and bless someones socks off!
...Or a beautiful birthday prezzie, mothers day prezzie or to do up for hubby on a lazy Sunday afternoon (which is EXACTLY what we did!)
Don't forget some cold, fresh whipped cream *drool*
