My Project Life!

Those who are blessed to be doing Project Life... How are you going with it? Are you up to date?
I was soooo behind but today, I sat down and did all my journaling so now January and February are fully finished... however March is still waiting to be done.

I got a great tip from Jade at Super Organiser Mum from her blog about a 'journaling station'. Its the BEST idea! So whenever I need to do Project life I just grab my journaling station and get started. No fussing around trying to find everything!

Here is my station!

This Photo cutter is the BEST investment if your into project life or any scrap-booking! It cuts photos to size quick and easy! Its from Creative Memories! I use it ALL the time!

I have also used the 'pull out' extension journaling card, and cut the top tab off, to use as a information card. I didn't have photos for these days but still wanted to add information. I just popped them into the 6x4 photo pocket.

I have been finding it so hard to limit myself to just ONE photo a day... The way I'm going Project Life is only going to last me 6 months and I'm going to have to order a new one! For my Valentine's Day photo I have use 2 FULL pages! The thing I love about Project Life is that you can make it work for you. So yes... Valentines Day has used up my week...however if I have a bad week and don't take ANY photos (doubt it) it will balance out!... So you could just journal your major events and not worry about the 'photo a day' or ,like me, do a mix :)

Today I also went back through the month of January (that was the only month I was up to date with my journaling cards) and re-wrote every journal card!! Why? Because I decided I didn't like the stamped date that comes with the kit. Im a bit of a perfectionist and the date NEVER came out straight! Some of them smudged and stuck to the plastic pocket... I also wanted to go back through and take more care when writing my cards, so they are neat and easy to read...you never know how long these albums will be around for... maybe generations!! Lucky that I had extra because I don't use the 7 journal cards a week!

I LOVE doing Project Life! It really is a fantastic investment! My family love looking through it already!! I'm already doing the 'Remember when...' chats with Luke when reading through the first 2 months...and 'wowing' over how much Ben has grown!... The BEST thing about it is that it doesn't take that much time so it doesn't cut into mummy or wife time and we will have it FOREVER :)
