...energy...gone...

Yes, so I may have over done last weekend... I always seem to...but this last week has taken so long to recover... its as if I have hit 31 weeks and ssssllllooooowwwwweeeeeddddd (slowed) right down.
My sleep has suffered...baby #2 is soooo active its ridiculous! So much more active than Luke ever was. Waking me up during the nights, kicking and playing on the inside!...HELLO!!! I'm trying to sleep here!
I'm now sleeping with a pillow in-between my legs, trying everything to get comfortable.

Still very exciting and looking forward to meeting the newest member of our family...its always interesting to think about how different this baby will be from Luke? or will they be similar? in personality, in looks... in everything!
Still tossing up about 6 names... nothing seems to stand out... so we may just wait to see what he looks like before we decide.
Going to my pre natal appointment on Wednesday...always look forward to hearing his heart beat and talking about my baby with the midwives and doctors.
I did my glucose test on thursday morning....YUK!! Man that stuff makes you feel GROSS... I was about 3 weeks late taking it. I have been avoiding it but while mum was here it seemed the best time to do it. Not having to entertain a 2 year old in a doctors rooms for 2 hours was great! He was playing with Nana at home while I had 2 hours to myself...BLISS (even if it was in a doctors room :) I read the latest Francine Rivers novel...A Mothers Hope...and yes, it was GREAT!

Here is some info on my 31 week old baby Davey...

Your baby's arms, legs and body continue to fill out -- and they are finally proportional in size to his head. He weighs about 1.5 kilograms and looks more like a newborn. He measures about 41 centimetres from crown to toe.
Your baby's organs are continuing to mature and he is passing water from his bladder: good practice for the urinating he'll do after he's born.

You've probably gained around 1.5 kilograms this month. Gaining 450 grams a week is quite normal during the last trimester as your baby has a final growth spurt before birth.
