Mr Robot #2 |
I find it so easy to make things for girls, but struggle with boys...actually I think most people who sew do, because at the markets and shops, there is always piles of beautiful girl pieces, but very few boy pieces.
So one day I got out my bag of scraps and needed to use them up...Mr Robot is what I came up with.
This is the second one I have made... The first was a tad different...its always nice to make them different and original from each other... He has a rattle inside him so he rattles when shaken and I have also stuffed each panel on his chest with (weetbix plastic...shhh dont tell anyone) plastic so when you grab or touch them it make that crunching sound. Ive just added different coloured ribbon for his 'arms' and 'ears' and appliquéd around everything to brighten it up! Easy as! Give him a go!

Mr Robot #2 found his new home yesterday with Ethan Giles, who was only born last thursday at 6 pounds 8 ounces.
It really is so nice to give gifts that are handmade, original and made from the heart!
