One Year. . . Almost!

We we are 33 days short of one year but we couldn't resist this opportunity to celebrate

Andrew and Katie's first anniversary!

Since they live in Germany and Andrew is in the military it is rare for the four of us to be able to get together. In fact Hubby and Andrew haven't seen each other since they July 9th, 2012 when they left for Germany.

And then...

add on the blessing of his parents coming to Minnesota 

and well,

it made it even more special!

Andrew's best friend got married in Iowa and they all flew into MN to get to the wedding, after that it was our turn!! They can only stay for a few days but we are thankful for every moment we can get with them!

The six of us went out to dinner where we had the reception, almost one year ago!

It was so much fun to celebrate with them!!

Since most of us missed out on the cake during the reception (we began visiting with guests and by the time we went back to our seats our slice of heaven was gone). . .  

We were able to get the top portion of their wedding cake for this one year celebration and enjoy what we had previously missed out on!

It was such a wonderful evening!

Katie and I planned it when we were in China (getting the girls) and it was so great to have this time arrive! Andrew's parents are so much fun and so nice. We had a great time together!

It is such a blessing to have these two home!
