Frozen Grapes

This year my eldest son is heading into full time Pre-primary.
I have so many mixed emotions its ridiculas!
From excited to nervous...sad to happy!

My week is going to change dramatically with a daily school run.
I know, heaps of mum's everywhere do this everyday, day in, day out.
But for the next 15 years this will be my life!! Ahhhhh!!!!!!
Its a change - a big change and I'm a little nervous about my morning routine!!

So I want to know... what works for you!!!!????
What are some hints, tricks and tips you can share to help a nervous mum like me take this next step with our children!?

Its that fear of walking into the unknown and wanting to do it so well and hoping you cope with the stress of getting everyone dressed, fed, clean, packed lunch and in the car before the bell rings and your late! BLAH!!!!

So Ive been pinning and reading some lunchbox tips.

Im not a HUGE fan of using the freezer, however I think thats about to change.
I found out that you can freeze grapes and they will keep for up to 3 months - stay fresh and not go soggy! WHAT!!!! How cool is that!!
(Yes...I know what your thinking...and you're right... I'm uneducated with freezing anything!) haha!!!

Its grape season at the moment and they are nice and cheap in every shop, so I grabbed myself the biggest bag of seedless grapes, picked them all off, washed them and dried them on a clean tea towel.

I then put the appropriate amount in snack zip-lock bags, put them all into a big container and threw them into the freezer. 20 bags in total. 20 lunch box snacks complete - CHECK!

Just to top all these changes... This morning Luke has his first wobbly tooth!
STOP GROWING UP!!!

Looking forward to hearing from you!
