Ben loves animals.
For his second birthday we did a farm themed birthday party.
His 2nd birthday was in 2012 but I wanted to share with you some of the ideas I came up with.
Here is the food table set up.
Water bottles in a cane basket.
Rabbit Food - Carrot, celery and crackers in a cup with a french onion dip in the bottom.
Honey and Corn - Honey Joys
Chicken Feed - Popcorn in brown paper bags
Eggs - Cake pops covered in white chocolate. I tried rolling them into more of a egg shape than a round cake pop.
Cupcakes with tractor toppers.
Fruit Platter - all in red fruits.
Strawberries
Grapes
Watermelon
Cherries
Tractor Wheels - Oreo's in a brown paper bag
Drinks - Cows Milk (chocolate milk) and Orange juice in glass milk bottles with red and white paper straws
His birthday cake was a slab of mud cake with green icing for the grass.
I used pretzels for the fencing and Kit Kat and choc fingers for the barn.
Gave our plastic farm animals a wash and stuck them on top.
I used ready made iced flowers from woolworths and stuck them to the side as flowers in the field.
Our very happy 2 year old playing at a sensory station I set up with his plastic farm animals.
Using different textures at the bottom of each tub. Rice, lentils and sand.
