Moving into our new house, and it being so much bigger than our last house, it still feels quite empty. I like a homely home so I want to fill it more with beautiful colours and patterns and textures to add new dimensions to each room.
I have all these beautiful fabrics that need to be made into something to be admired... but at the moment just sit in a draw. So I decided to use them as artwork in wood embroidery hoops.
My Sunday afternoon craft.
These were my final picks from my fabric.
I also had a lace vest that I didn't wear anymore, I cut it up to use to give them a vintage feel.
Crossed over fabrics on each hoop so them intertwined with each other... so they look like they belong in a cluster.
Here they are hanging on my wall.
It brighten's up the entry to the kids wing.
An easy, cheap and quick art option that also looks fantastic!
Im now thinking of making matching cushions :)
Give it a go!
