We have had a few hiccups and wrinkles in our adoption process.
PLEASE PRAY that we can get our authenticated dossier to Colorado asap so it can be reviewed and sent to China asap.
PLEASE PRAY with us that we are able to send our Dossier to China in November.
PLEASE PRAY that the Lord's guiding hand will be with it all the way to China and that LID will happen before our fingerprints expire!
We are praying to get our dossier to Colorado by Nov. 8th and then onto China by November 15th.
We are going to try to have a courier pick it up in Chicago and get it straight to Colorado. We will send the rest of it right away(like now) so it will be waiting there!
The details are boring but there have been a few snags in our process-
There has been a little miscommunication. If anyone is to blame it is most likely us. We didn't think we needed new local clearance since it had been done just a couple months ago for our previous adoption. We also should have just gotten new USC*S fingerprints instead of using our old ones. Now our deadlines are much too close.
We have lost valuable time- so far one month and if we don't make these deadlines we will lose at least 4-8 weeks.
We need to get to China and bring these babies(Ava and Samuel) home... and then we need to get to China and bring another baby home.
