Hubby and I took the kids to
The Christmas Carol!
We went to the matinee show- everyone was either a senior or a student!
We fit in perfectly!
(get it!)
I would have loved to retake this pic but once I took it, I was informed that there are
Absolutely NO
pics taken in the theater.
Well then...
okay, this will have to do!
The children knew the story and had seen the movie- so they could follow the play.
It was wonderful in every way!
The play was fantastic and even though we were the youngest people there-
Okay, the kids were... not hubby and I!
Although we may have been the youngest of the grey haired crew!

The children sat perfectly through the whole thing- over 2 hours!
It's all about placement ; - )
Seven sat in a row ahead of us, just an arms reach away and the others sat next to Hubby and I!

They were completely focused on the performance...
every single one of them!
For us, that is a great accomplishment!
I am so amazed at the progress each of the children are making!
They have come sooooo far from their days in China.
We still have a long way to go but it is exciting to be part of the progress!
Sometimes we get a little discouraged and we forget what it was like when we first met each child.
But when we take a step back and really see how they have grown in their confidence, social interactions, sense of humor, ability to learn and the joy that we see inside of them...
We are
humbled
and
thankful
that God is using us in this way!
Praise HIM!
