Home And Family : Mums Birthday!

January 5th was Mums Birthday!!

It has been so nice having her come and stay over that last 3 weeks and have her help and support with my last week of pregnancy and first 2 weeks of Benjamin's Life. She really is an amazing woman. She is a true example of a 'mum' and I am so blessed to be taught by the best!

It was a good day of productive shopping and then out for dinner with the girls!

Mum, I read this, and you really are a Proverbs woman... all you need now is a awesome husband beside you! ... he WILL come!!

Proverbs 31

...She's up before dawn, preparing breakfast
   for her family and organizing her day. She looks over a field and buys it,
   then, with money she's put aside, plants a garden. First thing in the morning, she dresses for work,
   rolls up her sleeves, eager to get started. She senses the worth of her work,

The woman to be admired and praised

is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God. Give her everything she deserves!

Festoon her life with praises!

When I read this passage, it really does sound like my mum!

She has always (ever since I was a little girl) accepted hurting and needy people into our lives and our homes and done everything she can to help them get their lives together, always speaking right and Godly things into their lives. Because of this, I believe that is why Boyd and I now have the same heart!

A heart of hospitality!

You have taught us to take care of our selves, to be healthy, modest, clean and elegant.

You have taught us to be home makers, to look after what we have and to make the best of what we have. To be content and not greedy. You have taught us to spend and invest wisely...

You have taught me HEAPS!!!

We went for dinner to 'Oscars', its in Currumbine and it was LOVELY!

(For the Geraldton people reading) It was like a upper class Topolines! :) Haha...

The menu was HUGE, there were so many things to choose from! The food was quick, hot and came all together! Exactly what you want!...oh and DELICIOUS!

I had a chicken, bacon, spinach, mushroom creamy pasta!

I should have taken a photo before I had eaten half of it but forgot... opps... so here is my half eaten dish! haha...
