Sunday Night we went to the Galaxy Drive In... Yes, I know its very similar to the Outdoor Cinemas... but still different!! It would be fantastic if you had a ute, you could all sit on the back under the stars... (Im getting taken back to memories of my childhood)... But we opened up the back of our Santa Fe so the kids could sit in the back, while Boyd and I had the camping chairs either side...however Boyd did end up curled up in the back of the car by the end of the night...
Boyd and I plan to go back on one of our 'date nights' (NO KIDS) and put the back seats down, mattress in the back, wine, cheese...BLISS!!
We went with some friends of ours, Sarah and Byron and their kids Tyron and Savannah.
We parked right up the front, which had a sand hill between us and the screen, that the kids could run on and play in... they loved it (would be awesome if they put a playground on it)...
Their was also a heap of friends that rocked up from church, so it was great to catch up with everyone before the movie started...
What did we watch?
Tangled. (The new Disney movie out)
What did I think?
It was GREAT!! I loved it! A total girl movie, but for any age... It was just beautiful, the princess in distress and the prince comes and rescues her!... However I did hear Byron laughing out loud a few times :)... So maybe the boys did enjoy it too..
My camera is really bad at taking photos at night...so please excuse the quality of the photos :(

Another cool idea to do with the kids over the school holidays!
They are showing Tangled and Toy Story 3 every night until the 19th of January (closed on Mondays). Starts at 8pm... $20 per car but cheaper on Tuesdays!
